Softball tourney champs and a personal swim record still stands

The softball team I play for on Tuesdays, Warning Track Power, had a great week of softball from July 30-August 4. We went undefeated with a record of 7-0 to win the Silver “C” division of the 13th Annual Yuengling-Wayne Rust Memorial-Mid-Summer Classic. Normally, I wouldn’t think anyone else would be very interested in such a thing, but the good folks over at cincysoftball.com decided to write up a nice article on the tournament and I was actually mentioned a few times. It’s not quite the same as having your name in the local paper, but it’s about as good as it gets for a recreational softball player! Check out the article over at cincysoftball.com by clicking here.

I also found out recently that I still hold a swimming record for the Butler County Swim League! I set a time of 24.69 for the 25m backstroke back when I was 6 years old in 1992. The record has held for the past 21 years! Proof is at this link. Come on Butler County! You need to produce a young phenom to beat my record!
